Our client needed to hire 42 consultants within a 12 to 16-week period, but the client’s HR team couldn’t scale to meet the demand. Turnberry provided a tailored talent acquisition solution, quickly sourcing, vetting, and onboarding data consultants, effectively addressing the client’s urgent staffing needs.
Our solution
To accomplish this, Turnberry leveraged job descriptions provided by our client to source data project managers, data engineers, and data scientists nationally and within specific geographies. We conducted requirement-gathering meetings and specification intake calls with each hiring manager to understand team dynamics, technical skills, and cultural fit. Our data practice principals shadowed interviews to grasp the nuances of the client’s needs, vetting candidates before submission. A dedicated recruiting team was used to efficiently scale and identify top-notch consultants for these 42 roles.
Results
Our client benefited from this approach by freeing up HR and hiring managers to focus on daily activities, while Turnberry Solutions dedicated a full-time team to sourcing and recruiting talent. This allowed us to meet the goal of hiring 42 data consultants within 12 to 16 weeks. Ultimately, our client converted 30% of these contract employees to full-time employees, achieving the original goal of building four commercial product teams.
