Our client, a national medical device manufacturer, needed an experienced Salesforce partner to help it migrate from Microsoft Dynamics to Salesforce to have a more connected enterprise and enhanced visibility into the business to support their future growth.

Client challenge

After 12 weeks of working with another consultancy, no builds had been completed which left the client frustrated. Still lacking Salesforce technical experience, our client needed a Salesforce implementation partner it could trust to seamlessly migrate the organization to Salesforce in a timely manner.

Our solution

Our team initially completed a two-week discovery process that consisted of creating process flows and ERDs, and reviewing documentation left behind by the previous consultancy. Next, we worked with the client to refine user stories, create design documents for each feature, complete sprint ceremonies together, and implement each feature build to deliver a Salesforce instance customized for the client’s needs. Our team designed the client’s environment strategy and recommended a deployment tool to ensure a smoother process for each sprint’s deployments. We integrated Tableau and DocuSign with Salesforce and built an API connector to fully automate the document sending and receiving process. During the engagement, Turnberry consultants also helped create process designs to improve existing processes where applicable. Lastly, Turnberry supported all go-live efforts to ensure a positive end-user experience for both desktop and mobile, leveraging our expertise in Salesforce consulting to deliver a tailored solution.

Results

​All 500 users previously on MS Dynamics are now on the client’s Salesforce platform and have enhanced visibility to business activities. Previous manual processes (like certification completion with signatures) are now fully automated. The integration of Salesforce data with the client’s existing Tableau dashboards now provides more easily consumable insights to assist leaders in making key business decisions.
