Turnberry addressed a regional convenience store and gas station chain’s concerns about developing a customer loyalty mobile app, delivering a cost-effective, scalable solution leveraging critical cloud concepts and AWS components while implementing Splunk for operations and compliance, resulting in enhanced customer engagement and operational insights.

Client challenge

Our client, a regional chain of convenience stores and gas stations, sought to build a customer loyalty mobile application. However, the client was concerned about the cost, scalability, and dependability of a potential application.

Working for Customer Loyalty at Turnberry Solutions

Our solution

The Turnberry team implemented a brand-new customer loyalty application for our client. For this project, scalability, elasticity, and metering were critical cloud concepts – as the “uptake” of the service and mobile application were difficult to predict. We implemented Splunk as a key component for operations, availability management, and compliance.

AWS Components: Beanstalk, EC2, ELB/ASG, Aurora, S3, SES, Rt 53, CloudWatch
Monitoring/NOC: Splunk Core, Splunk AWS App

Results

Thanks to the Turnberry team’s efforts, we provided client stakeholders with a new opportunity to monitor and understand their customer’s behavior and buying patterns in ways only imagined previously. The application was cost effective, scalable, and well-received by our client and its customers alike.
