Overview:
At Turnberry our Client Engagement Managers are key business partners in our sales function. They are integral in helping foster client relationships and work as part of a sales team that supports the expansion of existing accounts and new business to achieve revenue growth. They help screen, select, and match candidates to opportunities at their assigned client(s), help write client submittals, prep candidates for interviews, and launch new consultants with client-specific information. Client Engagement is responsible for all consultant care across their assigned client(s).
Key Outcome Goals of Client Engagement Management Role:
- Improve average win rate for requirements with a score of 35 or greater by selecting candidates who are the best fit for the client role and developing an ideal profile for consultants at assigned client(s)
- Accelerate ramp-up time for new consultants by delivering client-specific onboarding and acting as a SME point of contact for assigned client(s).
- Increase sales effectiveness of Client Engagement Director (CED) on assigned sales team by freeing up time they are currently spending on candidate 2nd screens, writing submittals, and providing interview prep
- Help build consultant communities within assigned client(s), sharing pertinent information across consultant base at those clients
Responsibilities:
- Making the Match
- Conduct second level interviews with candidates
- Match candidates to opportunities at assigned client(s)
- Refine consultant profiles and client submittals
- Prep candidates for client interviews
- Assignment Launch
- Create/maintain client-specific launch documentation
- Launch consultants upon placement to assigned client(s)
- Consultant Support
- Support consultants placed in assigned accounts
- Act as point-of-contact for client specific questions
- Build consultant communities across assigned client(s) – e.g., networking meetings, lunch and learn sessions, etc.
- Share relevant information across all consultants on placement at assigned client(s)
- Become the SME on assigned client(s), gaining an understanding of key current and upcoming initiatives and challenges
- Share gathered intel with CED with a goal of obtaining additional requirements
- Miscellaneous Client Engagement Team Support
- Partner closely with Sales (CEP, CED) and Account Coordinators on team to execute client-specific activities (e.g., VMS support, reporting needs, etc.)
- Partner closely with other support roles including Managing Consultants and Crew Managers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years account management or project delivery experience
- Minimum 1+ years consulting experience strongly desired
- High drive for a career path into sales or consulting
- Experience in Salesforce is strongly desired
- Ability to provide a large consultant base with high value support
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize on the fly with little supervision
- Proven business acumen, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Desire to help others grow and passion for mentorship
- Natural curiosity about people, clients and projects as exhibited by great networking skills
- Great follow-through and attention to detail
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, can-do attitude and high drive to win
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule (working early mornings or evenings as needed)
- Prior experience interviewing candidates is desired
The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000 or the hourly equivalent.
