IDEAS 4 U
March 2015 — As you know, transitioning from high school to the workplace or secondary schooling requires professional behavior and strong interviewing skills where students express confidence and assert their strengths. The Montgomery County Commerce Department, Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, Montgomery County Community College and the MidAtlantic Employers’ Association are working in partnership to help students develop those skills. IDEAS 4 U is a program that is focused on helping high school students with disabilities transition to the next phase of their lives. Turnberry’s Director of Talent Acquisition along with a member of the Talent Acquisition team attended IDEAS 4 U and mock interviewed students with interest in the technical field. They helped to outline a potential career path to support these students to achieve their goals.
